Do you make chocolates to order?

Are your Easter Eggs gluten free?
Our Easter eggs and chocolate itself is gluten free, but gluten may be introduced in the centre filled chocolates where we use glucose syrup. Glucose Syrup is derived from wheat which contains gluten. Please refer to ingredients listing on each pack.

Is Hillier's Australian?
Hillier's is Australia’s first chocolatier established in Sydney in 1914, and is also Australia’s longest running family owned and operated Chocolatier. Our chocolates are made in Australia using quality local and imported ingredients.

Do you Export to other countries?

Do you make hot chocolate / flakes?
We used to make hot chocolate flakes, in our old Pitt St and Collins St retail store. Currently we don’t have plans, but you may suggest to us through the product query feature on the Contact Us page so we can tally demand for the product.

Hillier's chocolates are stocked in most National retailers including David Jones and Myer, Woolworths, Coles, Big W, Kmart, Target and Priceline. We also sell direct through our Factory outlet located at

Do you make Bon Bon-niere’s for Weddings, Functions, and other events?
Yes we do, we make to order beautiful small gifts suitable for any size function from small samplers, to an elegant box and ribbon perfect for weddings, to mini and large foiled hearts (choose your own foil). Do we cater for Corporate Gifts?
Yes we certainly do, in the past we’ve made corporate Christmas and Easter gifts for large Australian and multinational corporations, to your small-medium sized business. Do you Contract Manufacture for other companies?

Yes, we make to order branded and non branded packaged chocolate bars and others, to help you and your cause achieve desired sales results. Do you make bulk chocolate eggs for Licensed products?
Yes we make to order, eggs in small mini 10g sizes all the way to large 6kg eggs, in different flavours, and foil colours to match. In the past we’ve supplied for Gift with Purchase items, and toy companies. Do you use melamine in your products?
No we do not, this is mostly found in cheaper foreign products that due to cost saving, use melamine as a substitute.

How much Cocoa does Hillier’s use in their products?
Hillier’s chocolate has a taste profile that is silky smooth and of premium quality. The milk chocolate boasts a cocoa solids content of 34%, whilst the dark has 53% cocoa content.

What Ginger do you use?
We source quality Australian Buderim Ginger whole pieces, and not the cheap re-processed ginger which you might find elsewhere.
