Welcome to the world of exquisite chocolate for lovers of all things delectable. First established in Sydney in 1914, Hillier’s has always prided itself on delivering breathtaking gustatory delights, making Hillier’s one of Australia’s most prestigious chocolate makers.
Our company was founded by Ernest Hillier, a committed chocolate enthusiast, who hand employed a selection of boutique chocolates available through his Pitt street refreshment store. This marked a proud era for Australians; as it marked the beginnings of Australia’s first chocolate manufacturer.
Hillier’s is a heritage brand and our company remains a fully Australian owned family company. It still shares Ernest Hillier’s original vision “ to offer our patrons only the highest grade confectionary…”and our chocolates still continue to be made locally in our Melbourne factory, using only the finest ingredients and the same traditional chocolate making processes.
From humble beginnings, Hillier’s has grown to be a household favourite, our broad product range encapsulates over 600 products. This includes one of our most iconic products the Yard of chocolates, still proving a favourite since it was created post World War II for enthusiastic cinema goers.
